Our herd sire is 26” Landfair Moons Go Boy, son of 26” Landfair Farm’s Willowbrook Farms Half Moon.  His dam is 28.25” NFC Husselers Little Meggin, daughter of  Komokos Little Husseler.  Go Boy is a tiny chestnut tovero with a gorgeous head and big beautiful blue eyes. Go Boy has produced seven beautiful fillies and four wonderful colts and they are just getting better each year.

Zachary Farms Ready to Rumble

 

 

Our 8 year old herd sire is Zachary Farms Ready to Rumble.  Rumble is a 30” beautiful high headed black and white tovero with blue eyes.  Rumble’s dam is Millers D Bar Ds Ali, a beautiful 28.5” bald face, black splash bald face overo with big blue eyes.  His sire is a refined black and white tobiano.   Check out his foals on the For Sale and Foals pages.

Little Americas Tex Lil Feather

 

 

 

 

 

HOMOZYGOUS FOR LP

DNA hair samples from Tex were used in the last published study on the genetics of leopard complex spotting.  Tex tested homozygous for all three SNPs associated with LP spotting.

DNA samples from Little America’s Tex Lil Feather were utilized in the  genetic research on LP.  "Tex" tested homozygous for the allele associated with LP.  Publication on these findings are hoped to be available soon.  DNA hair samples from Tex were used in the last published study on the genetics of leopard complex spotting.  Tex tested homozygous for all three SNPs associated with LP spotting. We feel so lucky to have found the perfect stallion for the beginning of our appaloosa and pintaloosa breeding program.  Feather aka Tex is a 31" blue roan snowcap appaloosa..  Tex’s dam Hunt House Farms Ruby Feather is a Yellow Diamond Little Feather daughter.  His sire Little Americas Sesquicentennial Tex is an Orion Vant Huttenest Grandson.

Zachary Farms Signature Moon

 

 

Our junior herd sire is Zachary Farms Signature Moon.  Siggie is a tiny red homozygous tobiano.  Siggie’s dam is half Falabella D Bar Ds Sweet Annie, a beautiful 29" black tovero.  His sire our beautiful 26" stallion Landfair Moons Go Boy. Siggie had a severe shoulder injury but is now almost recovered and will be used for breeding in 2008.
